Explanatory Answer
Average of first two numbers is 1 more than first number.
Lets take first number = a
Second number = a+2
Average of first three numbers is 2 more than the average of first two numbers which is a+3.
Therefore 3rd number is a+7
Average of first four numbers is 3 more than average of first three numbers which is a+6
Therefore the 4th number is a+15
The difference between the largest and smallest numbers is a+15 - a = 15
