Let the speed of Avyaa be 'a' steps/sec and that of the escalator be 'e' steps/sec.Now, Out of 96 steps, 32 steps are traveled by Avyaa. So, the 64 steps are traveled by the escalator. Thus, we can say that:Speed is proportional to distanceย  ->ย  e / a = 64 / 32 ย  -> ย  e = 2a.Now, the speed of Hridhaan is also 2a.So, since the speeds are equal in this case, both of them will travel an equal number of steps in the same time. Thus, out of 96, 48 will be traveled by Hridhaan.
