    Stoppage Time = Speed difference/speed of without stoppageCalculation:The Avg speed of a train with stoppages = 80 km/hrThe Avg speed of a train without stoppages = 120 km/hrย Speed difference = 120 - 80 โ‡’ 40 km/hrStoppage Time = Speed difference/speed of without stoppageโ‡’ 40/120 hours = 1/3 hr= (1/3)x 60 = 20 min.:. The train stops 20 min in one hours.
