    Hi Shruti. Here, we are given three equations.ย Let us look at the equations 2 and 3.f(0, q) = q + 2. and f(p + 2, 0) = f(p, 2)Now, if q = 2, then f(0, 2) = 4And if p = 0, then f(2, 0) = f(0, 2) = 4Now, let p = 2 and q = 2 in equation 1.So, f(2, 2) = f(2 - 2, f(2, 2 - 2)) = f(0, f(2, 0)) = f(0, 4) = 4 + 2 = 6.Now, let p = 2 and q = 4 in equation 1.So, f(2, 4) = f(2 - 2, f(2, 4 - 2)) = f(0, f(2, 4)) = f(0, 6) = 6 + 2 = 8.Hence, option C is the correct answer.
