Question 5Akhilesh is situated between the X and Y metro stations. He notices a Metro coming up to station X. The Metro is expected to continue travelling in the same direction, towards station Y. He is 250 metres from station Y and X, respectively. As soon as he notices the Metro, he immediately begins racing in the direction of station Y and barely makes it on board. He later calculates and realises that, had he ran in the direction of station X, he and the Metro would have arrived there simultaneously. What will be the ratio of Akhilesh's speed to that of the Metro if we use the slowest possible speed at which he must run to make the Metro in time?1 : 11 : 42 : 51 : 9
