unable to solve circular track questions

Started 3 weeks ago by Shubham Kumar Singh in

Two persons are running on a circlular track having radius 70 m, one in anticlockwise and another is in clockwise direction. Their speeds are 7.7 m/s and 3.3 m/s. if they start from the same point and they interchange speed everytime they meet, then find the time taken for the third meeting at the start point?

the answer will be 240s as per mebcoz1st meet is not at start point but i.e 132 m from start point which is after 40s2nd meet will be at start point and i.e after another 40s = total time for 1st meet at start = 40+40 = 80sso as 1st meet at start point is after 80s,then similarly 3rd meet at start point will be 80*3 = 240sย i think this is correct as per mepls tell me what is wrong here so that i can correct my understadning
