in the question it is not given that each tree is yielding some amount of nuts instead it is (x-2) trees yield 60 nuts and so on.. so why is number of trees multiplied with nuts per year

Hello Sir,I wanted to ask for your guidance on how I can improve my speed, especially in Quant. I'm currently studying at IIT Delhi, and due to the level of questions I've practiced so far, I've developed a habit of solving problems slowly and analytically.While this approach helps me understand concepts deeply, it has become a disadvantage during time-bound tests. In topic-wise tests, I’m usually able to solve most questions correctly, but I’m unable to attempt all of them within the given time. Whenever I try to increase my speed, I feel a lot of pressure and end up misreading or misinterpreting questions.Even strategies like Vedic Math become difficult to apply under time pressure. I would really appreciate any advice or techniques you can suggest to help me improve both my speed and accuracy.Thank you!
