I am unable to understand this question, I cannot grasp the concept behind the solution of this question.
A group of men are building a wall. After half the wall has been built, double the number of men joined the original group. The wall gets completed in 6 days earlier than the scheduled. What is the total no. of days needed to complete the wall by the initial group of workers?

Can we solve this question using WDH or work equivalence. if yes, then how?
A tank has some filling pipes connected to it and each pipe fills the tank at the same rate. Some holes are present at the bottom of the tank and each hole empties the tank at the same rate. If 10 pipes and 8 holes are opened, it would take 10 hours to fill the tank. Instead, if 8 pipes and 10 holes are opened, it would take 35 hours to fill the same tank.
