Unable to understand the rules of narration
Here I am unable to understand what are the 1st, 2nd or 3rd person of pronoun. And also there are changing on the basis of subject or object of reporting verb. I am unable to identify the subject or object of reporting verb either. Can you please point them out in the example and let me know that according to what, what all changes are made. It would be better, if there would be more such examples. Lastly, when we change to indirect speech the short forms like 'I'm' or 'doesn't' changes into 'I am' or 'does not' respectively? And does direct and indirect speech comes in XAT also?debd4d56-ad58-4414-848e-99730e1471b5.jpg 106.29 KB

Doubt in one of the rules of noun
When using people or police we use 'are', like: 'People are standing in the line.' or 'Police are catching the thief.' So, first part- 'Police is catching the thief.' is wrong? And second part - when we use company we use 'is' not 'are', like: 'Company is shutting down' not 'Company are shutting down' or it would have been 'Companies are shutting down'. So, how come, 'Company' is an example in this rule because we are using 'is' with it.d192f249-7bbc-4117-8060-34456ecab4fd.jpg 32.34 KB
Doubt in solution
Shouldn't the right answer be 8:10pm rather than 5:10 pm as the flight was originally delayed by three hours, so, shouldn't it be answered keeping that in mind? 17ff0464-f63a-4980-9258-64144bf6960c.jpg 151.01 KB

Isn't option (a) also not a very appropriate option as direct suing the suppliers is not a very good option as first step should be communicating with them and trying to find the main issue and if its their fault and they are not accepting it or not compensating in that case we should sue them, so the correct answer should be none of the above as per me.9d78ad36-6772-4ecf-9591-29aed99f5d2b.jpg 147.54 KB
Usage of each and every
Is it grammatically correct to use 'each and every' in one sentence or is it just used as slang? Eg. Each and every word you say must be true. So, is it grammatically correct?0bf5e1a7-c82c-4ab0-a41f-f62c11685299.jpg 47.12 KB
